Asda has launched a Real Life Cover insurance plan which can provide life and financial cover via several options.
The policy, which has been developed in conjunction with LifeSearch and Fortis, contains seven elements including life, critical illness, income insurance and unemployment cover.
Clients will be able to select the cover they need and take out one policy that will cover those selections via one policy.
The policy contains a Life Fund, which pays out on death or the diagnosis of a terminal illness, and a Living Fund, which covers income and critical illness.
The Life fund is unaffected by claims to the Living fund and clients will be able to make as many claims as they need against the Living Fund, subject to sufficient cash in the fund.
