AXA Demand £720million Drainage Improvements

Insurance Group AXA have called on the UK government to improve surface drainage in the towns and cities that were affected by last years summer floods.
The company estimates that the improvements would cost the government around £720million and will push up the UK flood defence budget to £1.5billion for 2010/2011.

ABI Survey Shows Public Concern Over Flood Risk
