AXA Demand £720million Drainage Improvements

Insurance Group AXA have called on the UK government to improve surface drainage in the towns and cities that were affected by last years summer floods.
The company estimates that the improvements would cost the government around £720million and will push up the UK flood defence budget to £1.5billion for 2010/2011.

Small Business Owners Overlook Insurance

Small business owners are subjecting their customers staff and business to unnecessary risk says a poll commissioned by Insurantz .com.
Almost 30% of those companies surveyed admitted to not being sure exactly what was covered by their insurance policy, while 12% did not even know if they were insured or not.

Boris Johnson Reminded Of Flood Defence Responsibility

Businesses unaware of Fire Safety Order Legislation

Many small business owners are unaware of their responsibilities when it comes to supplying fire fighting equipment and staff safety training a report from Norwich Union Risk Service claims.
