Police in Lancashire have arrested and charged three men as part of an investigation into insurance fraud relating to motor vehicle accidents.
Operation Contact has investigated hundreds of road traffic accidents in Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester and any links they may have to fraudulent insurance claims.
The three men from Bolton are all charged with conspiracy to commit fraud in what is described as a ‘crash for cash’ scam, uncovered during the police investigation.
The three men will appear in Stockport Magistrates court next week.
