LV= would appear to be an odd choice of name for an insurance company, but they are perhaps better known as Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society.
If you are a frequent traveller or are interested in travel insurance, then it will be worthwhile to pay them a visit, as they have recently launched two new travel policies that look pretty good value.
Benefits include: Medical cover up to £10million, personal possessions £2,500, loss of money up to £500, cancellation £5000 and legal expenses up to £25,000.
Cover for single trip in the UK starts from £6.76 for a seven day policy. Premiums for European travel start from £38.82 and Worldwide £74.16 for up to 90 days annual cover.
