Travel Insurance For Men With Prostate & Testicular Cancer

John Williams - Sunday 15.06.08, 16:13pm

Equity Insurance Group has launched a travel policy specifically for men who have been diagnosed with prostate and testicular cancer.

The introduction of the insurance known as Insureblue, follows the success of Equity’s Insurepink a policy offering cover to women with breast cancer.

Fiona Macrae, insureblue’s creator and Equity executive, said: “Policies reflect the actual, rather than the perceived risk of travelling with male cancers. It takes individual circumstances into account when calculating a fair premium and dispenses with the often intrusive and insensitive medical questioning faced by sufferers when seeking quotes.”

Equity will donate £1 from every travel policy premium, to Everyman, which funds research into causes and cures of prostate and testicular cancers.
