UK Insurance:Provisional Marmalade offers learner driver insurance

John Williams - Tuesday 01.09.09, 11:42am

Provisional Marmalade is the latest insurance offering from the people behind Young Marmalade and is designed to suit young drivers practising in cars belonging to family or friends while being supervised.

The cover is purchased in the name of the learner driver and ensures that any accident claims will not affect the No Claims Discount of the vehicle owner.

Provisional Marmalade can be arranged on a monthly basis and offers full comprehensive cover from £2.99 per day. The cover is seen as a cheaper alternative to adding a young provisional driver to a standard motor policy and a offers the added benefit of insuring the learner driver, giving them some insurance history when it comes to insuring their own vehicle once they have passed their driving test.
