PJ Hayman’s Free Spirit policy is one of the UK’s largest specialist travel insurance providers, offering cover for clients with pre-existing medical conditions and disabilities and enabling over 40,000 people to obtain cover for travel abroad over the last two years.
Free Spirit was the first scheme of it’s type specifically dedicated to offering cover to those being declined elsewhere due to health problems. The company claims to offer travel insurance cover in 96% of cases referred, including cover for terminal cases that are subject to individual underwriting.
Most recently Free Spirit has removed age limits on single trip and annual multi trip policies. The specialist insurer has also reduced rates for cancer cover by up to 8%.
The insurers Bond Plus Financial Failure Protection provides cover of up to £1,500 against a trip being cancelled due to the financial failure of either the travel or accommodation provider.
